Who is Sendhil Ramamurthy, the man behind Moginder Suresh

Sendhil Ramamurthy (b. May 17, 1974) is an American actor you’ve definitely seen before. He’s hottest as Mohinder Suresh in Heroes (they even rewrote the older-guy part for him!), then Jai Wilcox in Covert Affairs, Gabe Lowen in Beauty & the Beast, and Dad in Never Have I Ever.
He was born in Chicago to Indian‑doctor parents, grew up in San Antonio speaking English and some Kannada, and at first went to Tufts pre‑med—until he took an acting class, fell in love, switched to history, then honed his craft in London.
Since then he’s rocked stages in London’s West End and off‑Broadway, popped up on Grey’s Anatomy, CSI: Miami, The Office (Ravi, anyone?), even played Bloodwork in The Flash, and you’ll spot him in Doom Patrol Season 4. All in all, he refuses lame stereotypes, kills it in every role, and is basically the definition of “steady ah?” in Hollywood.
